How do you organize 58 events in a foreign country and build a thriving hip-hop scene from scratch?

Łukasz “Shadowface,” originally from Gorzów, Poland, arrived in the Netherlands in 2007. He worked construction jobs while keeping his turntables stored in a neighbor’s garage. Years later, he runs 2deverdieping Studio in Amsterdam and stands behind 58 editions of Show Your Skills — an event series that helped shape the Polish hip-hop community in the Netherlands almost from the ground up.

What began as passion and persistence evolved into a recognized platform for real DJ skills, live performance, and authentic hip-hop culture.
